The SaHoMa®-II mesh nebulizer unit is the highly innovative centerpiece of the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses. It uses state-of-the-art mesh technology, which combines a perforated disc with a piezo ceramic element. The resulting pumping action forces the inhalation solution through the small holes and releases it as an aerosol for inhalation. The holes in the extremely delicate mesh disc are approximately 20 times thinner than a human hair, making them barely visible to the naked eye.

The SaHoMa®-II mesh nebulizer unit has a volume of 17 ml and produces aerosol particles of the optimal size. With an MMAD of 3.92 µm, the particles reach the airways directly and without detours, providing relief exactly where needed. These optimal aerosol characteristics are complemented by excellent output values ​​of 0.8 ml per minute.

Reliable nebulization down to the last drop
No heat is generated during the silent inhalation process, so the leak-proof SaHoMa®-II mesh nebulizer unit can be used to nebulize virtually any product approved for inhalation. We recommend using a separate mesh nebulizer unit for each horse and inhalation solution to avoid unwanted interactions, cross-contamination, or infections.
